ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS & CONDITIONS
Bells and Whistles owns and operates the internet site located at www.bellsandwhistles.co.nz on secure servers in New Zealand. To help ensure a safe environment for all users, we have established the following terms and conditions. By accessing any areas of the Bells and Whistles website, you agree to be legally bound and to abide by the terms set forth below. If you don't agree to abide by these terms & conditions, you should immediately leave this website. We also reserve the right to modify, alter or update these terms & conditions without prior notice.
Prices on this website are shown in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The price advertised might not be the same price charged to the credit card account due to exchange rate fluctuations. This means that because we are based in New Zealand we have to convert your purchase to New Zealand dollars at the exchange rate on the day it is processed.
Your credit card issuer may apply charges for currency conversion. Bells and Whistles will not cover or accept responsibility for the cost of these charges.
Any other relevant duties or sales taxes in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility.
ORDER & PAYMENT METHODS
Bells and Whistles uses PayPal for all transactions. Customers can pay either by logging into their PayPal account during the payment process or simply adding their credit card details.
Shopping online with us is safe and easy and can be done 24 hours, 7 days a week. We are committed to protecting your online security and privacy and further information about our security and privacy policies are set out below.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Faulty products may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Should the product have a minor fault, Bells and Whistles will decide whether to repair or replace it or provide customers with a full refund. In the event of serious product fault that is of warranty nature, the customer has the choice to either receive a replacement or full refund. A full refund will be made should a replacement product not be readily available.
Please email or call Bells and Whistles should your product be faulty and we will establish the most appropriate method to return the product. Upon receiving the faulty product, we will provide you with a refund for the incurred shipping costs.
Should we receive your returned product in a condition which we believe is not fit for exchange or refund we will contact you to discuss it. Bells and Whistles reserve the right to refuse a return or refund for any product that has been sent back in a damaged condition or noticeably used by the customer.
Customers do not have the right to return goods for a refund if they just change their mind and decide they no longer want the product.
Once your order has been placed you cannot cancel it.
All returns must be packaged sufficiently (i.e. in the same manner in which you received them) to avoid damage.
Bells and Whistles sell all products under the recognition that once they are used for the purpose of purchase we are no longer held responsible. It is the responsibility of the purchaser once they take possession of all goods to ensure their products are suitable for safe use.
Exchanges are subject to product availability. The customer will wear the costs of having the products returned. Exchanged items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received (within 14 days) and undergone a quality control check back at head office. Please note that the customer will have to pay for the delivery of the replacement item.
Should the product you ordered from us be faulty on arrival, or if you discover any defects to your product, please contact us immediately upon receiving it and we’ll arrange a replacement to be shipped to you. We offer a guarantee on all products as defined by the manufacturer. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse or general wear and tear.
Upon receiving your online order, you will receive an automated email that contains an order number, order details and your contact details. If necessary, we will contact you should we have any questions.
TRACKED & NON-TRACKED SHIPPING
Bells & Whistles offers both tracked and non-tracked shipping options for customers outside of New Zealand. We accept no responsibility for lost packages whereby customers have selected the non-tracking option. It is in the best interests of our international customers to select the tracking option for all orders.
Your privacy is very important to Bells and Whistles. With that in mind, we have established and implemented information handling practices that we believe are consistent with the highest standards and best practices of organizations doing business on the Internet. We will not disclose your personal Information to third parties unless you have authorized us to do so. We endeavour to take reasonable steps to protect the security of the personal Information we collect from you.
CONSUMER GUARANTEES ACT 1993
The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Bells and Whistles. In the event that goods sold are not of acceptable quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.
Our website may contain links to other websites. When you click on one of these links, you are re-directed to another site that we do not control and for which we cannot be responsible. You should carefully review the privacy statements or policies on any other site that you visit because those privacy statements or policies will apply to your visit to that site and may differ from our policy.
